Our Strength 45 classes are all about building full-body strength through circuit-style workouts inspired by exercises similar to Hyrox and CrossFit. Each session mixes up different movements and weights to target your entire body, with a focus on form and control. And to wrap things up, we finish with an energizing finisher that’ll leave you riding high on those post-workout endorphins! Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting out with strength training, our instructors will be there to guide and support you every step of the way.

It's so easy to book a place on one of our Strength 45 classes on the Pure Fitness App or on our website by simply selecting your chosen gym, viewing the class timetable and finding a class and time that suits you!
If you are new to classes, let your instructor know when you arrive, and they will help you get started -- all of our classes cater for all abilities, so you can work at your own pace.
TAKE THE FIRST STEP
All of our classes are designed to get you moving. We suggest dressing in breathable, non-restrictive clothing so that you’re comfortable. A towel and a reusable water bottle are also good to have to refresh and rehydrate during and after a workout.
Strength 45 classes are 45-minute workouts that target your entire body using free weights. The class also includes a finisher designed to boost your conditioning and improve your cardio fitness.
In a Strength 45 class, you'll use resistance equipment and body weight to target all major muscle groups and build strength. Exercises include moves like goblet squats, reverse lunges, overhead dumbbell presses, and double kettlebell deadlifts, along with other strength exercises. You’ll often work with equipment like kettlebells, dumbbells, sandbags, and slam balls.
The number of calories you burn depends on factors like your age, height, and weight. Strength classes can be more intense than many cardio workouts. On average, you can burn up to 400 calories in a 45-minute session.
